Not sure of what you mean by raw digital but you probably don't want Raw. I use RAW at home because I enjoy listening to DTS Audio CDs which I need to output as raw in order to hear. If you find the line out of your average portable device into the home theatre setup with the portable device playing an uncompressed CD track produces quality sound then it's not digital raw out you want.
